Lifelong learning - extension of working life
As a result of demographic aging, the need to connect as many people as possible, including those of senior age, by extending their working lives is increasingly necessary. Investing in lifelong learning to integrate or reintegrate seniors into the labour market or to extend working careers to older age will be crucial to meet the economic needs of society. Increase in economic productivity and reducing of unemployment are related to providing equal opportunities in access to lifelong learning. Particular attention should therefore be paid to removing barriers to participation in further training activities.
