Lifelong learning - Seniors
An integral part of the development of lifelong learning should also be support of educational activities in which seniors find their alternative employment after leaving the labour market. Education within third age universities and senior academies should be further developed to increase the proportion of senior citizens attending courses. Involvement of seniors in leisure time education significantly contributes to prolonging their full, active life, it has a positive impact on their overall health and thus increases their independence. The offer of training courses for seniors should be based on the current requirements that a changing society imposes on all citizens.
