EURES - The European Job Mobility Portal

 

The European labor mobility portal is intended to facilitate the free movement of workers within the EU countries and Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.

 

EURES helps:

• for job seekers to find a job in Europe,

• employers recruiting employees from all over Europe.

This includes the provision of services that are available on the EURES portal or through the network of advisers.

 

EURES services to jobseekers and employers include:

• connecting vacancies and resumes on the EURES portal,

• provision of information, advice and other support services to workers and employers,

• providing access to information on living and working conditions in EU member states in areas such as taxation, pensions, health insurance and social security,

• providing specific support services to cross-border workers and employers in cross-border regions,

• providing support to specific groups within the EURES Targeted Mobility Schemes,

• providing support to dynamic recruitment events through the platform of the European (online) job opportunities days,

• providing information on (and access to) post-admission assistance for workers such as language courses and integration support in the destination country.
