  • There is no situation, there is no age and no condition where exercise is not a good thing. Whatever our age or health status, there is compelling evidence that being physically active can help us lead happier, healthier lives. Higher levels of total physical activity and less time spent sedentary are associated with substantially reduced risk of mortality, in particular in patients performing physical activity post-diagnosis in breast cancer, diabetes and heart disease.

  • This module addresses the basic principles of a Regular Physical Activity presenting the typical RPA menu as steps, choices, needs and goals.

  • The benefits of RPA are discussed focussed on specific gains. Brain health, weight manage, reduce the risk of disease, strengthen bones and muscles and improve your ability to do every day activities are presented in a separate section according to the International Health Association.

  • You will learn the beneficial effects of RPA on thinking enhancement, learning, and judgment skills, healthy growth and development in young people and overall improvement of well-being.

  • You will learn how to make small, sustainable changes in your lifestyle to improve your health in daily, weekly and monthly base.

  • Suggestions and Tips will be provided for a low to medium intensity workout plan.
